Fortunately, they were a little off. Today, my music can be heard in series including “GDR”, “Open Marriage”, “Limitchitsy” and many other projects.

And the songs I started writing when I was young have taken on a life of their own — in releases, music videos and on stage.

I’m actually a pretty positive person. Which is why my piano album is called “The World of My Melancholy.”

Sometimes a song needs a full orchestra. Sometimes, just a piano and silence. What matters is that it feels real.

For me, music never exists separately from the story. Even when there are no words, I still imagine the character, the place, the light, the camera movement and the moment when the music might begin.

Maybe that’s why, in the end, everything comes back to one simple idea: every song I write should feel like a scene from a film.
