I am Vladimir Justus.

I write music for film — and songs that, for some reason, always seem to turn into scenes from a movie.

When I was 14, I picked up a guitar because I wanted to be like Roma Zver. A month later, I was kicked out of music school and told I had no future in music. Luckily, that prediction turned out to be slightly inaccurate.

Since then, my music has been featured in TV series such as GDR, Open Marriage, Limitchitsy and other projects.

Recently, another long-time dream came true: the songs I first started writing in my teenage years are now being heard around the world and reaching millions of streams. Poezda, Zachem, Zavtra, S Toboy! — stories about love, silence, distance and the people you cannot simply forget.

In general, I am quite a positive person. That is why my piano album is called World of My Melancholy.

Sometimes a song needs a whole orchestra. Sometimes all it needs is a piano and silence.

The only thing that really matters is that it feels true.

And still, every song of mine has to sound like a scene from a film 💜💙
